Committed to Community. Connected to Each Other.
Community Commitment
We are committed to supporting the communities where we live and work. Strong communities create strong futures, and we believe lasting, mutually beneficial relationships are built on trust, respect, and shared responsibility.
Human connection is at the heart of who we are. We recognize that we are all interconnected — through our daily actions, our environments, and the relationships we cultivate. A sense of belonging strengthens those connections, and we believe that giving selflessly, sharing openly, and leading with kindness are essential to how we show up in the world.
Our commitment to community is not an initiative — it’s a reflection of our culture. It’s how we work, how we serve, and how we continue building a better future together.
Charity & Fundraising
As an active member of communities across Alberta and Texas, Rangeland Truck & Crane proudly supports charitable organizations through financial contributions and active employee participation in fundraising events. We believe in giving back, strengthening local programs, and helping create opportunities for those who need them most.
Our commitment goes beyond donations — it reflects who we are. By investing in people, supporting local initiatives, and encouraging our team to get involved, we help build stronger, more resilient communities today and for the future.
Community Events
Building community starts within our own team. We host barbeques, golf tournaments, holiday celebrations, and outdoor gatherings that bring our people together and strengthen the bonds that make our culture unique. These events create a workplace rooted in connection, belonging, and shared pride — a culture shaped and celebrated by the people who live it every day.
On-Call 24x7 for Heritage Park Historical Village, Calgary
Rangeland Truck and Crane Ltd. continues to support the community and our heritage by lending our staff and equipment to Heritage Park. Beyond towing up the Moyie (Heritage Park’s paddle boat), we are on-call 24x7 for any large issue that requires a lift. Recently there was a small “slip” off the track and we were honored to get the call and use our crane to pop the rail car back on to the track. We are proud of this association and encourage one and all to visit Heritage Park not only for the beautiful sights but also to learn about our own history which defines us who we are today.
In the words of Alida A Visbach, President & CEO, Heritage Park Historical Village - “Heritage Park is pleased to work with Rangeland Truck and Crane. As a charity, our organization is thrilled with not only the support we get from the people at Rangeland but with the quality of their work and the timeliness of their response to our needs. Whether it is hauling the S.S. Moyie sternwheeler out of the reservoir in the fall or lifting one of our vintage train cars, Rangeland’s team has been there to help and make sure that these valuable pieces of the Heritage Park experience are treated with the care and respect they deserve. Thank you, Daryl and Rangeland, for all that you do for Heritage Park!”
Annual Pumpkin Fest to raise money for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation
Rangeland Crane & Truck is proud to be an integral part of the Annual Pumpkin Fest, hosted by Blue Grass Nursery, Sod & Garden Centre. Every year the event promises a smashing good time while supporting a good cause. The event includes face painting, pumpkin carving, a petting zoo, a straw maze, hayrides, and plenty of activities before culminating in the popular pumpkin drop. A giant pumpkin (over 500kgs) is hoisted into the air by a Rangeland crane and released over top of an old donated car.
The event is organized to raise money for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation through donations, sponsorship, and a portion of food vendor sales.
